ABOUT THE ARTIST
BARBARA FIELD
For many years I served as an art instructor, classroom teacher and administrator in both New England and the Pacific Northwest. My early training was received from well known professionals in the New York abstract expressionist movement.
I graduated with top art honors from U.C.N.Y's Hunter College. Later, I became part of the University of Washington's M.F.A. program while involved in other graduate studies.
Recent "perceptions" in my painting adventure can be viewed in juried exhibits and galleries located in Idaho and around Washington's Puget Sound area. For an on-going display of my most recent work, visit Schweitzer Resort's Artist Gallery in Sandpoint, Idaho.
